Suryakumar Yadav was seen praising Rohit Sharma for his outstanding accomplishments in Indian cricket on his official social media account. Because of Rohit’s honor, Suryakumar Yadav wrote, “Good things happen to good people.”

“From finisher to opener to our captain, congratulations to @ImRo45 on your amazing feats on the cricket field. In every capacity, you have inspired us and made us proud. A leader who takes the initiative and improves the game is very uncommon. Suryakumar Yadav said on his official X account, “You are that leader who has changed not just the game but the approach, the attitude, the dressing room atmosphere, the team, and the role of a captain.”

“Good things come to good people, as I’ve stated before, and you deserve it all and more. He said, “Wankhede just became even more iconic.”

Following India’s victory in the T20 World Cup last year, Rohit Sharma declared his retirement from the longest format, and the event took place during the change the Indian cricket team was going through. This is why the event, which was attended by Maharashtra president Minister Devendra Fadnavis and NCP-SCP president Sharad Pawar, ended up being a celebration of Rohit Sharma’s services to Indian cricket.

One of Mumbai’s top cricket players, Rohit, has just assisted the nation in winning two ICC trophies: the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy and the 2025 T20 World Cup. He has participated in 159 T20Is, 273 ODIs, and 67 Test matches for India since making his debut in 2007.

Rohit was spotted at the ceremony thanking his brother, wife, and parents for their unwavering support throughout his career.
