Most of the passengers traveling by train now book reservation tickets online. Many of these passengers complain that the availability first shows confirmed tickets, but when they book, it takes so much time that the ticket which appears to be confirmed becomes waitlisted. Not only this, many times people also complain that the money was deducted first, but the ticket could not be booked due to the slow process. However, later, the refund is received. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is solving the problem of such passengers. Online tickets can be booked in the blink of an eye. This has also been started. A record number of tickets is being booked.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation IRCTC CMD Sanjay Jain said that an AMI bot service has been taken to provide convenience to IRCTC users. With this, general users can book a maximum number of tickets at a time. Its effect has also started showing. Two days ago, more than 31 thousand tickets were booked per minute. This is a record to now. In this way, IRCTC has given great relief to the users.

This is how it works.

The bot is to stop such users from booking tickets who behave abnormally. That is, it is stopping those brokers who, with the help of some software, feed all the details as soon as the Tatkal opens without taking time. Bot reads the pattern. For example, while booking a ticket, it takes two minutes for the passenger to fill in the manual information, but some systems are feeding it in 10 to 20 seconds. The bot is to stop booking tickets through such systems, because most people take more time. It is not possible to fill in so quickly. In this way, it stops brokers from booking tickets with the help of software.

Most tickets are booked during Tatkal time.

According to IRCTC, during normal times, passengers do not face any problem in booking tickets, but during Tatkal time, there is a problem due to more traffic coming together. To provide relief from this, a Bot system has been installed.

More than 15 lakh tickets are booked online.

There are about 3 crore IRCTC users across the country. Currently, more than 15 lakh tickets are being booked online every day. This includes online booking by passengers as well as booking by agents. More than two crore passengers travel by train every day.
