Suzuki Access With TFT Display: Worth The Price?

The Suzuki Access now has a top-end variant which costs Rs 6,800 more than the previous version. The highlight being the new 4.2 inch TFT display. The new variant is called Ride Connect TFT which also gets this new blue shade. This colour is called Pearl Aqua Silver. Other colours on offer on the scooter include Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, Solid Ice Green, Metallic Matte Black.

This display is better than the LCD unit on the lower Ride Connect variant. With the new TFT display you can connect via Bluetooth and there is a multi function display as well. Other features include turn by turn navigation and more. Compared to the LCD display, this display looks better, has quicker refresh rate and shows brighter colours.


There is also day and night mode. What this means is better visibility for the rider under bright light or other conditions. These is no change mechanically which means this top-end new variant of the Access 125 has a 125cc single cylinder engine which develops 8.3 bhp and 10.2 Nm while having a 5.3 litre fuel capacity. The Access 125 has been a big success and has increased sale volumes for its maker while being the best seller too. Scooter sales have increased in India driven by new products and refreshes as well.
