The couple revealed that their life isn't the same after the loss of Peltz's grandmother, "Naunni", after her death last year, aged 95. Peltz is thought to have been extremely close to her grandma - Naunni was even chosen to be her maid of honour at their lavish wedding in 2022. But this week, on the first anniversary of her death, the couple took to social media to share their feelings as they still grieve their loss.

Uploading some pictures reminiscing on , Nicola wrote: "I can't believe it's been a whole year without my Naunni on earth.

"I miss her laugh so much. I miss her happiness, her love, her everything. Her magic runs though my mom and I'm so lucky to know the feeling of that love. I am so lucky she was my Naunni - I miss her every single second. Life is not as bright without her here."

also shared his feelings and stories about her grandma-in-law. He also seems to have been close with Naunni, having whacked it with his culinary skills to cater for one of Naunni's birthdays before delivering a speech: "Happy birthday, I love you so much, I am so honoured to be here on your birthday.

"You are so amazing, and you look so gorgeous today, thank you for letting me into your gorgeous family. I hope you enjoy the day."

Also posting on the anniversary of the loss, Brooklyn shared some photos of the pair laughing and smiling, writing below, he added: "Can't believe it's been a year without you Naunni x you were always so happy and always made me laugh. I miss you and will love you forever x.

"It makes me so sad to think of our future kids not being able to know you. You were one of a kind, and we miss you every day."

But despite the change in subject, the comments were still filled with fans wanting to know more about after swirling rumours of a family fallout.

The talk began after Brooklyn and Peltz were notably absent from any of his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations, with one particular party at the swanky Notting Hill restaurant Core being attended by all the Beckham clan and several other stars, while the couple were nowhere to be seen.

The so-called snub sparked the rumours and after reports came out Brooklyn seems to have found a new family in the Peltz's the gossip continued.

Sources have claimed that Brooklyn now sees his mother-in-law, Claudia, as a "second mum" and uses the Peltz family to hide away from the media attention that has surrounded him since his birth.

A source told : "Claudia is like a second mother to him and, although they are billionaires, Nicola and her brothers had more of a 'normal' upbringing because they didn't have the media intrusion, which Brooklyn has always found so hard.

"He sees them as a kind of sanctuary where he can hide away if he wants to, but that is almost impossible in the Beckham family; they always seem to be on show. There is less pressure on him in a way."
