Belthangady: Renowned actor and brand ambassador of Muliya Gold & Diamonds, Ramesh Aravind, inaugurated the company’s newly expanded showroom at Raksha Arcade in Belthangady on Saturday, May 17.

This iconic jewellery brand, which carries a legacy of over eight decades, has now opened a modern and spacious showroom that reflects both tradition and contemporary elegance.

Ramesh Aravind arrived in a grand procession arranged by the company. The procession included traditional drums and folk art performances such as hulivesha, and was conducted from the Belthangady Mooru Marga Junction to the showroom.

The actor was warmly welcomed by Keshava Prasad Muliya, Chairman and Managing Director of Muliya Group; Krishna Narayana Muliya, Director; and other family members and relatives.

The event was flagged off with a unique lamp-lighting ceremony. The ceremonial lamp was brought from various village temples across all 81 villages of Belthangady taluk, marking a symbolic and culturally rich beginning to the inauguration.

The new showroom is spread across 5,000 square feet and consists of two spacious floors. It features dedicated counters for gold, diamond, and silver jewellery, watches, and gift items. A large parking area is also provided for customer convenience.

Embracing the ethos of Atithi Devo Bhava, the store has made special arrangements to enhance the customer experience. These include complimentary lunch and snacks for customers, a playroom for children, and a dedicated valet parking service.

For the first time, the Belthangady showroom has introduced customer-friendly technologies such as gold purity analysers, lab-grown diamond detectors, and other advanced testing machines. This initiative aims to promote transparency and build trust among customers.

The showroom also features exclusive sections for bangles, antique collections, and traditional necklaces, catering especially to the taste of rural customers and offering them a wide variety of new options.

The inauguration event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including Ashwini Krishna Muliya, Krishnaveni Prasad Muliya, Dr S Satishchandra (Secretary, SDM Education Society), Venu Sharma (Muliya Marketing Advisor), Shivakrishna Moorthy (Assistant Executive), Lohith (Branch Manager, Belthangady Branch), and Sanjeev (Marketing Manager), among others.

With the launch of this grand new showroom, Muliya Gold & Diamonds has reinforced its presence in the coastal and interior regions of Karnataka. The brand already operates in cities like Puttur, Madikeri-Gonikoppal, and Bengaluru.
