HPBOSE Releases 12th Grade Results

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially announced the results for the 12th-grade examinations on Saturday. According to Hema Raj Bairwa, the Chairman of the Board and DC of Kangra, an impressive 83.16% of students successfully passed the exams. Out of 86,373 candidates who appeared for the tests, 71,591 achieved passing marks. Unfortunately, 8,581 students did not pass, while 5,847 received compartmental results. The results are accessible on the official HPBOSE website. To assist successful candidates, the board has also made copies of certificates available on DigiLocker.


Girls Outperform Boys in Exam Results

In a remarkable achievement, girls have once again outshined boys, with 61 out of the top 75 students being female. Among the top performers is Mahak from the Government Senior Secondary School in Gagret, Una district, who excelled across all streams—arts, science, and commerce. Mahak scored 486 out of 500 in the science stream, achieving a percentage of 97.2%. Following her, Khushi from Dhualadhar Public Senior Secondary School in Dharamshala and Jahnvi Thakur from Bharati Vidyapeeth Public Senior Secondary School in Baijnath secured the second position with 96.6%.


Top Performers in Arts and Commerce

In the arts stream, Ankita from the Government Senior Secondary School achieved the highest score of 483 out of 500, translating to 96.6%. Meanwhile, Indrani Kumari from New Era School of Sciences in Kangra and Jyoti Sharma from the Government Senior Secondary School in Jalaari, Hamirpur, ranked second and third with scores of 96% and 95.8%, respectively. In commerce, Payal Sharma from the Government Senior Secondary School in Chanaur topped with 96.4%, followed by Shagun from the Government Senior Secondary School in Choki Maniyar with 95.6% and Ananya Thakur with 95.4%.


Exam Statistics and Instructions for Candidates

During a press conference, Hema Raj Bairwa announced the results, highlighting that last year, the overall pass percentage was 73.76%, which has now increased to 83.16%. This year, 86,373 students took the exams, with 71,591 passing, 5,847 receiving compartmental results, and 8,581 failing. The examinations were conducted from March 4 to March 29 at 2,300 centers across the state.

They need to enter their contact number and email ID, click on the exam results link, select Himachal Pradesh Board (HPBOSE) in the new window, and input their roll number and registration number.
