Brennan always exuded an extraordinary aura from his earliest days. As an infant, he surpassed his developmental milestones with ease and was crafting full sentences well before his first birthday. With a penchant for clothes that seemed snatched from yesteryear, Brennan often uttered phrases reminiscent of a bygone era, leading his mother Tan to muse, "it's kind of like he's been here before."

However, it took until Brennan was six for Tan to sense the truly uncanny nature of her son's persona. Discussing her experiences on LMN's series titled The Ghost Inside My Child, she remarked: "There's smart and then there's creepy smart."

His conversations are strikingly mature, and he has a proclivity for fedoras and jackets, favouring styles in vogue during the '40s and '50s. Tan reflected: "One of the terms I use about being Brennan's mom is when the extraordinary becomes ordinary. He has this insight that a lot of adults don't even have...It's kind of like he's been here before." A particular occurrence that gave her pause was when Brennan mentioned his "other house" in casual dialogue. "That's when I knew there was something a little bit peculiar going on," she disclosed, reports .

Recounting a startling revelation from six year old Brennan, she explained that he shared with her a divine message: "When Brennan was six he was able to tell me that God sent him down to me because he knew I really wanted children - and because he was such a kind, smart man the last time, he told me: 'God sent me back on a white horse and I woke up as Brennan.'" Such statements bring tingling sensations to any parent, leaving Tan questioning the source of such profound thoughts.

The mother recounted: "This is when you realise you're having a conversation that you're not quite equipped as a parent to have - the emotional intelligence that was in his voice when he said that to me was so sincere and it struck me because that's not something a six-year-old would say."

She continued: "I asked him: 'Brennan have you been a grown up before?' And very matter of factly, Brennan replied without missing a beat: 'Well yeah, before I fell off the roof and died.' I'm surprised I didn't lose control of the car at the time." She reflected: "There are moments in your life that you will forever remember in detail...that was that moment for me - it almost knocked the wind out of me emotionally and mentally."

Tan explained how Brennan began experiencing hearing difficulties around the age of five and was diagnosed with a severe deficit in his right ear, which specialists deemed "unexplained." When she pressed him for more information about his alleged death and whether it was painful, she said Brennan told her: "Yeah it hurt, I fell off the roof and died and saw lots of blood."

Tan admitted: "It is hard to hear as a parent, your son talking about dying or remembering the trauma involved with a death...I don't know if that's going to affect him or if it's already affecting him and I just wasn't aware." She realised: "So many things started to make sense for me - one fact was that he remembers falling and there being trauma to the right side of his head."

The documentary team spoke with Brennan, who recalled an incident where he fell off a house. Touching his ear, he disclosed: "I hit my head right here, that's why I have the hearing aid - there's still something wrong with it." Tan noted that Brennan provided further insights into his apparent previous existence, asserting that he was once born in Springfield. With some investigation, she managed to compile four obituaries for him, hoping they might trigger some recognition and offer "give us closure or a place to start."

On-screen, it is revealed that Brennan feels a connection to one James P Patterson, who perished in 1901 after tumbling 40ft from a dormitory where he was working. Brennan firmly identified with Patterson, saying: "Definitely that one," Tan expressed her astonishment at the revelation: "It's still so surreal that it's a surprise, but I believe him."

Having gone viral on YouTube, the clip amassed over 1 million views and sparked thousands of comments. One viewer commended: "I praise all parents who choose to be open and accepting of what their child is saying." Another mused: "We all been here before. Some of us remember and some don't."

A comment read: "I was skeptical of reincarnation until now. Now I believe in it. Amazing video and interesting story!" And another person shared a personal anecdote: "I had similar experience with my daughter when she was about 5 yrs old. She said things that only my deceased sister would say or know. She was born 4 yrs later on the same day my sister passed."
