"I mean, it's not everyone's cup of tea - nor is classical music. It's not everyone's cup of tea, so I respect everyone's opinion. But Eurovision is just a fun show. It's just fun to watch. You can feel the love through the TV screen if you're watching at home. So I would encourage people to keep an open mind and just see and watch the show," he implored. JJ won the competition during the intense final. After the national juries had cast their votes, he was leading the pack with 258 points, closely followed by Switzerland with 214 points.

Meanwhile the UK's came 19th overall in the competition. Although reaching the top ten with the jury vote they received zero points from the public which sent them careering down the leaderboard.
However with a shrug and a smile. On Sunday morning they declared "this is just the beginning". They said in a statement: "WOW - what a ride! Three best mates walked onto the world's biggest music stage and came out with a Top 10 Jury score, massive streaming numbers, and memories that will last a lifetime.
"Performing at Eurovision was one of the most surreal and emotional moments of our lives. The love we've felt from fans, our incredible team, and everyone who streamed, voted, and believed in us has been overwhelming."
