This story dates back to a time when Rajesh Khanna fought with his co-star over Hema. Let’s explore what led to the clash. The on-screen pair of Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini was one of the most successful pairs of their time. They have together been in movies like Naseeb Kudrat Prem Nagar Sitapur Ki Geeta Andaz Mehbooba Vijay to name a few. One such film was Babu which was released in 1985. There is a fight sequence from the movie where actor Roopesh Kumar played the role of a villain Jaggu Dada who used to tease Hema Malini (Kammo). Seeing this Rajesh Khanna who was present at the spot in the role of rickshaw driver Babu fought with Roopesh Kumar and taught him a lesson. However this was just a matter of a movie scene and in reality Khnna did not fight with anyone. It is known that Babu which was released in theatres 40 years ago was one of the best movies of Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini. Babu was a remake of the 1965 Malayalam film Odayil Ninnu a film adaptation of Malayalam writer P. Kesavadevs acclaimed novel of the same title.
