TVS Motor Company has launched its new electric three-wheeler, the TVS King EV Max, in Tamil Nadu. The vehicle is priced at Rs 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom) and can travel up to 179 km on a single charge.
One of its key features is quick charging, it can charge up to 80% in just 2 hours and 15 minutes. The EV also comes with TVS SmartXonnect, which allows users to get real-time navigation, alerts, and vehicle health updates on their smartphones.
Speaking about the launch, Rajat Gupta, Business Head - Commercial Mobility at TVS, said, "The launch of the TVS King EV Max in Tamil Nadu is a big step in our aim to offer greener transport for city travel. As cities grow, cleaner mobility options are becoming more important."
He also added that the vehicle offers a good mix of performance and comfort. The long driving range, fast acceleration, and quick charging will help customers, especially those running fleets, make more trips and earn better.
The King EV Max is powered by a 51.2V lithium-ion battery and can reach a top speed of 60 km/h. TVS is also offering a warranty of six years or 1.5 lakh km, whichever comes first. Customers will also get 24x7 roadside help for three years.
