Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal are getting ready for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated film, Love & War, which also features Alia Bhatt. Although filming hasn’t started yet, both actors are already diving into preparations—most notably, they’re undergoing impressive physical transformations for their roles.
Ranbir and Vicky Shed Over 10 Kgs Each
A source close to the production shared that Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal have been putting in serious effort to get fit and align with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s vision. “Ranbir has dropped 12 kgs, while Vicky has lost 15 kgs for their roles in Love & War,” the source revealed. This transformation is all about bringing authenticity and intensity to their characters, enhancing the visual experience of Bhansali’s cinematic universe.
Ranbir Praises Bhansali’s Vision
Earlier this year, Ranbir Kapoor reflected on reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 17 years since their film Saawariya. At a fan event in Mumbai, he couldn’t hide his excitement and admiration for the filmmaker. “Working alongside incredible actors like Alia and Vicky, and being directed by the master himself—Sanjay Leela Bhansali—is a dream come true for any actor,” Ranbir expressed. He commended Bhansali’s profound understanding of Indian culture, emotion, and music, mentioning that while the process can be demanding and intense, it’s also artistically rewarding.
