All-Women, Rural Version Of Bigg Boss To Be Shot In MP's Sehore Village; 15 Celebrities From Cities Will Milk Cows, Do Manual Labour To Stay In The House

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): An all-women and rural version of the popular and controversial TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ will be shot in a village in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh.

The shooting for the show, which will air on Zee TV, will begin soon. Tentatively titled ‘Gori Chale Gaon’ it will have a different format. The format will place contestants from urban, luxurious lifestyles into a completely rural setting, where they must adapt to village life and perform everyday tasks.

From manual labour to milking cows and lifting heavy loads, the show will challenge participants to experience and survive the simplicity and struggles of rural living.

The show is being produced by Banijay Asia, which produces both Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi for Colors TV. According to sources, 15 women will live in the house of the ‘Goris’.

They will include prominent personalities from different sectors including actors and social media stars. ‘The first phase of shooting will last for about three months,’ the sources said, adding that ‘The launch date of the show will be announced soon. Host is yet to be decided.’

The show will deliver a unique and engaging reality experience - not just entertainment, but also a cultural exploration that bridges the

urban-rural divide, sources said. The upcoming show is said to be inspired by the format of Jau Bai Gaavat, a popular Marathi reality show that aired on Zee Marathi.

In Bigg Boss, contestants called ‘housemates’ live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. Housemates are voted out, usually on a weekly basis, until only one remains and wins the cash prize, during their stay in the house,
