US: In honor of Tuesday’s “take your child to work day,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt hosted a special briefing. The kid reporters, whose parents work as journalists and official workers, bombarded her with inquiries.

The children learned a lot of new facts about US President Donald Trump, including the fact that he loves to embrace people and eats desserts and sweets.
Among the children present was Leavitt’s own kid, Niko, who is 10 months old. As the children handled some rather difficult subjects, the crowd regularly erupted in laughter. For example, one youngster asked Leavitt to identify the president’s favorite child, while another questioned her on which news source she disliked the most.
The press secretary kept the tone light and said to both, “Depends on the day.”

Leavitt said, “A good amount of candy; he liked pink Starbursts and tootsie rolls,” when a youngster inquired about how much candy he eats each day.
Another youngster wanted to know what Trump’s favorite McDonald’s meal is.
“Who doesn’t adore McDonald’s French fries and hamburgers?” After responding, Leavitt said that the president’s true favorite dish isn’t offered at McDonald’s.
The press secretary said that while President Trump likes a wide range of cuisines, steak is likely his favorite.
Since his 2016 campaign, Trump’s well-known predilection for well-done steak topped with ketchup has generated both interest and culinary controversy.
With 49 seats largely filled by kids, ranging from newborns to preteens, the briefing room was about half full. Proud parents observed from the rear of the room and the side aisles.
The White House gave its youngest guests the opportunity to ask questions that adults often avoid, and their responses brought many smiles.
In another cheerful appearance, President Trump joined a group of kids outside the White House for a lively dance. A staff member subsequently posted a video of the incident on social media.
