Not only this, here you can check whether any complaint is already registered in his name before making UPI payment to someone. For this, first you have to go to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCCRP).
Click on the hamburger menu on the top right of the portal and go to the option Report & Check Suspects.
Here you have to click on Suspect Repository.
Then click on Check Suspect.
After doing this, you have to enter whatever details you have related to the suspect. This detail can be anything like mobile number, UPI ID, bank account number or email.
After this, if the person in front is a fraud, then this portal will put all his details in front of you.
