When the child comes face to face with his identity a shockwave runs down his spine. Soon he leaves to find out who his real parents were. According to IMDb reports director Prakash Mehra made this film based on himself. It is said that despite having a father he always saw himself as an orphan. Therefore this film is considered the directors story. The movie proved to be a box office success. Not just that fans and critics praised Amitabh Bachchans acting.
