2 Israeli Embassy Officials Shot Dead In Washington DC: Report

Two officials from the Israeli Embasy in Washington DC were shot dead as they exited an event Wednesday night (local time) at the Capital Jewish Museum, reported CBS News.
The shooting appears to have been a targeted attack, the report added, quoting two law enforcement sources.
Other employees of the Israeli Embassy who were at the event were also injured in the incident, as per the report. The shooting took place on F Street, near the FBI's field office.
Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Dannon, also confirmed the incident saying the shooting occurred "outside the event that took place at the Jewish Museum."
