
Veteran actor Moushumi Chatterjee who is known for her upfront nature has shared the screen with many actors. From Amitabh Bachchan to Dharmendra Chatterjee has worked with many A-list celebs. Not just that Moushumi has also been Indias first superstar Rajesh Khannas co-actress. With Big B the veteran actress worked in movies like Roti Kapada Aur Makaan Benaam Hum Kaun Hai? Manzil whereas with Kaka she worked in films like Prem Bandhan and Humshakal. In a recent interview Moushumi talked about both Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khannas stardom. Moushumi Chatterjee revealed that while Amitabh was one of those actors who did not show arrogance on being a star Khanna on the other hand needed people around him. A promo of Filmfares video is doing rounds on the internet which shows Moushumi recalling her experience of being on the sets with the two legends. The actress can be heard saying “Amitabh Bachchan ko maine kabhi nahi dekha chamcha chamchi ke saath (I never saw Amitabh Bachchan surrounded by yes men). I have never seen any buddies around him that don’t need to be but I used to see them with Rajesh Khanna. He needed that pampering and attention.” The veteran actress recalled incidents when Rajesh was teaching the Bengali actress whose first language isnt Hindi about how to abuse in Hindi. “He used to teach me abuses. He used to laugh because I used to just say it. I was innocent I didn’t know what was the meaning” she said. In the same interview Moushumi also shared about her father-in-law Hemant Kumar who passed away in 1989. She revealed the reason to be a cardiac arrest. Talking about how his death affected her the actress said “When Hemant Kumar died for the first time I felt in Bombay that I am an orphan. Any fight I used to have with my husband he was always on my side. Even if I said I want to divorce your son and get married he would still say that I will be with you.”
