Apart from Malayalam films Sheela also delivered films in other languages like Tamil Telugu and Kannada. Undoubtedly Sheela Celine was one of a kind actress who dominated the South film industry with that she took not time to become the highest paid actresses of her time. Not only this apart from being an actress she also made her mark as a writer and director in the entertainment business. Talking about her career Sheela holds an impressive record of starring in more than 475 films in Malayalam Tamil Telugu and Urdu language. During her prime Sheela frequently starred with legendary Malayalam actor Prem Nazir the duo has featured together in over 130 films and surprisingly only 50 of them were considered hits. Actress Sheela Celine holds the Guinness World Record for delivering more than 130 films with Prem Nazir. Due to her impressive record in the entertainment business Sheela also became a four-time winner of the Kerala State Film Award. Many may not know this but Sheela Celine returned to the big screens after a gap of 22 years. She appeared in the 2003 film Manassinakkare. In 2019 the veteran actress was awarded the J C Daniel Award Keralas highest honour for contribution to Malayalam cinema.
