The new Altroz has been launched and an obvious rival is from within the family too which is the Nexon as it remains one of the most popular Tata cars around. Now both are completely different but here is a quick comparison of what all you get in each car. Size wise, the new Altroz and Nexon both are under the 4m barrier but the Nexon is longer while the Altroz has more wheelbase.
Of course, since the Altroz is a hatchback and the Nexon is an SUV, the Nexon has more ground clearance. Design wise, both look sharp while having the latest design language. Inside, the Altroz actually looks very premium while the Nexon looks sporty. Both share a large 10.25-in unit while the Nexon has a sportier colour combination while the Altroz goes in for a lighter one. Some design bits like the 2 spoke steering are taken from the Nexon in the Altroz too. Let us look at features now and here both get a 360 degree camera, connected car tech, climate control, rear ac vents and more.

The difference is that the Nexon gets a panoramic sunroof while the Altroz has a standard one of course plus a few more. The other big change is the powertrain since the Nexon petrol as standard is a 1.2l turbo petrol unit while the Altroz has a naturally aspirated one. While sharing the 1.5l diesel, the Nexon is more powerful too but CNG option is available on both too. At the moment, it remains to be seen of the new Altroz comes with a turbo petrol or not. The Nexon being the SUV is more powerful, has more ground clearance but the Altroz is for those who want the hatchback style and nearly all features with a different hatchback look along with a lower price.
