Delhi: In a very important match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Rishabh Pant -led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the tournament’s most successful team Gujarat Titans (GT) by 33 runs to win a loud victory. Batting first despite losing the toss in this match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Lucknow scored a huge score of 235 runs in 20 overs thanks to Mitchell Marsh’s brilliant century innings. In response, Gujarat Titans could only manage 202 runs in the scheduled 20 overs.

After this victory against Gujarat, LSG captain Rishabh Pant expressed happiness in the post-match presentation. He said, “I am very happy. We always talk about playing good cricket and many times we have proved this. However, during the tournament there are also occasions when we could not redeem them. It is part of the game. Today it is clear that he has a strong batting line-up.”

He further said, “There were concerns about the injury of some players before the start of the tournament, but we had decided that we would not discuss it much. Our batting unit has done well, but there were some flaws in the fielding. But we are not making excuses. We are learning and moving forward.”

Significantly, after this victory, LSG’s spirits must have been elevated. However, he has already been out of the current tournament and this victory will give him confidence for the next season.
