
New Delhi: Neem has been called the “treasure of healing” in Ayurveda. It has been used for thousands of years for its medicinal properties. Eating neem leaves on an empty stomach in the morning increases the body’s ability to fight many types of diseases. In particular, it can prove to be helpful in controlling and eliminating two serious problems – diabetes and skin infections.
1. Control on diabetes
Neem leaves have hypoglycemic properties, which control blood sugar levels. It improves the functionality of insulin and maintains the balance of glucose in the body. It has been proved in many researches that eating neem leaves provides relief to type-2 diabetes patients.
How to use
– Chew fresh leaves of 4-5 neem on an empty stomach in the morning. – If you are unable to bear the bitter taste, then you can make powder and take them with lukewarm water.
2. Get rid of skin infection
Neem has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, which help eliminate skin infections, eczema, and acne. It cleanses the blood and removes the toxins stored in the body.
