Now in Delhi, under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Bijli Yojana, an additional subsidy of Rs 30,000 will be given by the government for installing solar panels. Let us tell you that under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Bijli Yojana of the Central Government, the government gives a subsidy of Rs 78000.
Now, apart from that subsidy of Rs 78000, the Delhi government will also give a subsidy of Rs 30000 to the people of Delhi for installing solar panels, that is, if someone installs solar panels under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Bijli Yojana in Delhi, then he will get a total subsidy of Rs 1.08 lakh.
Who will get its benefit?
Let us tell you that under the Delhi government's scheme, the benefit of extra subsidy will be given only to the people of Delhi. Under this scheme, only those people can get solar panels installed at their homes who own a house and have a rooftop i.e. an open roof.
