Officials have been instructed by Nellore Municipal Commissioner Y.O. Nandan to stop unauthorized building in the city. A charge sheet against the owners who were in charge of building the residences has also been requested by the Commissioner.
The Commissioner and officials from the planning department performed a surprise inspection in the 18, 19, and 20 divisions, including Ramalingapuram, Mutyalamma Palem Gomathi Nagar, Srihari Nagar, and Aravinda Nagar, on Friday as part of his daily visit.
The village and ward secretaries have been instructed by the commissioner to visit each home and check the tap connections and building permits.
Additionally, the Commissioner ordered planning authorities to measure the structures to determine whether or not they were built in accordance with standards.
He instructed them to promptly submit a charge sheet against homeowners by designating it as an unlawful constriction if they discovered any errors in the measurements. This time, the commissioner has checked the Assessment Demand records. There were other authorities present as well.
