
On May 23, Mukul Dev, a well-known actor in the Hindi, Punjabi, and South cinema industries, died in Delhi at the age of 54. His cause of death has not yet been revealed. The report was verified for India Today by Vindu Dara Singh, a television and movie figure and Dev’s close buddy. Singh said that Mukul had stopped seeing people after his parents passed away.
He said that throughout the previous four days, Mukul’s health had become worse. According to Vindu Dara Singh, “Mukul remained alone after his parents passed away. He would even meet people or leave the home. He was admitted to the hospital after his health deteriorated in the previous few days.
His brother and all others who knew and loved him have my deepest sympathies. We shall all miss him; he was a wonderful guy. Following the announcement of his passing, a number of industry celebrities expressed their sorrow.
Rahul Dev, a well-known Indian actor, has a younger brother named Mukul. The latter disclosed that Mukul died in Delhi on the evening of May 23 and shared the message about his sibling’s passing. The cremation service will be held in Delhi’s Nizamuddin West at 5:00 p.m.
“It’s impossible to put into words what I’m feeling,” Manoj Bajpayee posted on X while lamenting Dev’s passing. Mukul was an artist with unrivaled warmth and passion, and he was a brother in spirit. Too young, too quickly gone. His family and everyone else experiencing this tragedy are being prayed for courage and recovery. I miss you, Meri Jaan. Om Shanti, till we cross paths again.
Vindu Dara Singh posted an old video of Mukul Dev on X, writing, “My brother #MukulDev, rest in peace! Our time together will always be treasured, and #SonOfSardaar2 will be your farewell performance, bringing pleasure and happiness to the audience and making them laugh uncontrollably.”
In response to the news, Deepshika Nagpal sent a touching message on Instagram Stories, saying, “I can’t believe this muks.”

In 1996, Mukul and Sushmita Sen costarred in the movie Dastak, which marked his cinematic debut. The actor hasn’t looked back since that point. Over the years, he has dominated both small and silver screens with his legendary performances. Dastak, Shareek, Qila, Mere Do Anmol Ratan, Wajood, Son Of Sardar, Ittefaq, and Creature 3D are just a few of the well-known films in which Dev has appeared.
The 2022 film Anth: The End was the actor’s most recent appearance. Samiksha Bhatnagar and Divya Dutta played important parts as well. Mukul Dev has appeared in a number of television series, including State of Siege: 26/11, Gharwali Uparwali, and 21 Sarfarosh – Saragarhi 1897.
