The Body Shop has been one of the most coveted brands in India when it comes to body care and hair care—and honestly, I’ve been using them since I was a teen. From their mists and lotions to the shampoos and conditioners, the products are an absolute hit.
I tried a few products from their latest India Edit range, and here’s my honest review.
Honest review of The Body Shop’s India EditIf you’re looking to add some bodycare products to your routine, then India Edit is it because the range has something for everyone. Let’s dive right in!
1. The Body Shop Lotus Shower Gel, Rs 395 The Body Shop
Rating: 8/10
I’ve used all of their shower gels, and honestly, they’ve always felt like a necessity, not just a luxury, because only the best will do when it comes to bodycare, right? If you are looking for something that’s outright floral, then this one’s an ideal pick for you.
The notes include tender rose, crisp pink pepper, and sweet patchouli. Together, they leave your bathroom just as full of fragrance as your body!

2. The Body Shop Lotus Body Mist, Rs 795 The Body Shop
Rating: 8/10
I am a sucker for floral mists, but this one didn’t really work for me—not in a way that made me go, ‘I need to keep this’, and that says something. While the mist isn’t bad at all, it might not cater to everyone who loves florals, and that sort of made this something that works only selectively. Hence, it is definitely not in the top thee products from my picks of India Edit.

3. The Body Shop Pomegranate Shower Gel, Rs 395 The Body Shop
Rating: 8.5/10
This one will give you absolutely silky, smooth skin, and is one of the finer collections from the lot. With hints of sweet almond, fresh peony and warm amber, you will find this to be a comforting pick, for sure.
And of course, if fruity is something that’s your vibe, then you’ll love this one, for sure!

4. The Body Shop Pomegranate Body Lotion, Rs 695 The Body Shop
Rating: 9/10
The pomegranate shower gel and body lotion are quite the mighty combo. Together, they work really well for anyone who wants hydrated, supple skin. At the end of the day, it is the elements that make all the difference, because the formulation for each of these products is the same, but it’s more a matter of personal choice!

5. The Body Shop Hibiscus Shower Gel, Rs 395 The Body Shop
Rating: 9/10
One of my most favourite products and range from the edit, this shower gel has floral notes of pear blossom, white gardenia, and musk mallow. Together, they worked like an absolute charm for me.
Also, when I asked friends to pick their favourites, it did make it to most people’s list — and well, that says something, doesn’t it?

6. The Body Shop Hibiscus Body Lotion, Rs 695 The Body Shop
Rating: 9/10
One of my most favourite body lotions currently among all others I have, and it works very well, much like others from the range. If you want soft, hydrated skin, go for these. Since they smell so fresh and aren’t even too sticky, you can also use them during summer!

7. The Body Shop Black Grape Shower Gel, Rs 395 The Body Shop
Rating: 9/10
If I had to choose my top three, this would make it to it, for sure, because this one’s the best out of the lot, and you cannot miss out on it. With notes of sweet plum, flirty freesia, and warm vanilla bean, you’ll love how your body smells after the shower—and isn’t that the point?

8. The Body Shop Black Grape Body Mist, Rs 795 The Body Shop
Rating: 10/10
The overall top products can keep changing, but the top product in my list of favourites from the India Edit so far will be this body mist. It is one of the finest mists, and it smells rich and how.
It’s one of the most unique mists in my collection of a bunch of them. I keep going back to it because of how good and long-lasting it is!
