Multiple Bundesliga clubs show interest in Holstein Kiel’s player of the season.
Despite 11 goals from Shuto Machino, Holstein Kiel’s debut Bundesliga season ended in relegation. The Japanese striker even had a better campaign in top-flight football compared to his output in their promotion season.
Accordingly, he could stay in the Bundesliga next season with some clubs already showing interest in the player. Sky report Borussia Mönchengladbach have concrete interest in the six-time Japan international.
The Foals, who have decided to start next term with Gerardo Seoane, are also on the lookout for further attacking reinforcements. Newly-promoted Hamburger SV are one of their competitors for the signing of the player, who has a contract until 2027 at his current club. However, Kiel only expect a transfer fee of €5–6 million for the 25-year-old.
