Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded the role played by the indigenously developed defence technology used in Operation Sindoor, which was launched against terror camps in Pakistan, in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack. He described the defence technology as a "testament to India's blood and sweat," which represents a self-reliant nation.

The remarks were made by him during his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat," which was broadcast for the first time since Operation Sindoor. PM Modi also said that the action taken by India has lent a new confidence and enthusiasm to the fight against terrorism across the world. He also showed the pictures of the terror sites that were destroyed by the Indian armed forces in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

"Today, the entire nation is united against terrorism, filled with anger, but determined. Today, every Indian's resolution is to eliminate terrorism. The valour displayed by our forces during Operation Sindoor has made every Indian proud.
