Desk: Traffic jams and parking problems are often seen in urban areas. Due to this, the Maharashtra government has now announced a new policy to deal with these problems. Under this, it is very important to have a parking space to buy a new car and bike. If you do not have a parking space or there is not many evidence, then you cannot buy any new car in the state.
Regarding this, Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Saranaik said that it will be mandatory for people who buy the car to show evidence of certified parking space from the civic body. Along with this, the Transport Department has planned to implement this policy within 100 days, due to which the vehicle buyers will have to take a parking certificate from the local municipal corporation or whatever the concerned authority is. So that it can be ascertained that they have enough space to park the car.

Registration of new vehicles will not be possible without this certificate. In such a situation, the sale of vehicles in crowded places like Mumbai Metropolitan Region may be affected. Parking place in Mumbai is quite limited, so this rule can present a new challenge for buyers. Along with this, the decline in the cell of new vehicles can also be seen. Please tell that this policy is inspired by countries like Japan. It is mandatory to show evidence of parking space for vehicle registration in these countries. Regarding this policy, CM Devendra Fadnavis says that this is part of the government’s strategy to reduce traffic.
