World World: The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has prepared a proposal, which includes a proposal to remove all restrictions on emissions of greenhouse gases on coal and gas -powered power plants. The scheme will be made public after an intermediate review.
The EPA says that the rules of the previous administration were also very rigid and affecting cheaper and reliable power generation, which made electricity expensive for American families. In the new draft, EPA has said that gases like coal and gas carbon dioxide have a less share in global emissions and have no major impact on the environment or public health.
However, according to the United Nations, fossil fuels are responsible for more than 75% of the world’s greenhouse gases, and this is the main cause of worldwide temperature growth.
Former President Donald Trump’s administration has taken several steps to remove climate change rules and promote the oil-gas industry. Recently, Trump’s Parliament has passed a large budget bill, which can end many subsidies for green energy.
