Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma paid a spiritual visit to Ayodhya, where they offered prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple. Images and videos of the couple participating in the rituals have been circulating widely on social media.

During their time in Ayodhya, the couple also met Sanjay Dutt, the spiritual successor of Mahant Gyan Das and national president of the Sankat Mochan Sena. Their temple visit and rituals were facilitated by senior priest Hemant Das of Hanuman Garhi, who guided them through the spiritual proceedings.

The couple, known for their deeply rooted spiritual beliefs, had also visited Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan earlier this year. That visit came shortly after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket, ending a remarkable 14-year stint in the format.

Anushka is often seen cheering for Kohli from the stands, continuing to be a constant source of support in his cricketing journey. Married since 2017, Anushka and Virat are proud parents to two children daughter Vamika and son Akaay. Ajit Agarkar on Virat Kohli Test retirement

In a significant revelation, Team India’s chief selector Ajit Agarkar has confirmed that Virat Kohli had already made up his mind to retire from Test cricket well before the official announcement. Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, May 24, Agarkar disclosed that Kohli had informed the selection committee of his decision as early as April.

"Virat reached out to us in early April and said he had made up his mind to retire from Test cricket,"

The 36-year-old walks away from red-ball cricket with an illustrious record. Since making his debut against the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica, in 2011, Kohli amassed 9,230 runs in 113 Test matches. He retires as India’s fourth-highest run-scorer in Tests.
