Meeting of NDA Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting in New Delhi with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). During this gathering, he delivered a stern message to leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), urging them to maintain restraint in their speech and to avoid unnecessary and controversial remarks.

Importance of Responsible Speech

According to sources, in his closing remarks, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of using speech appropriately in public life. He cautioned leaders that commenting on every issue is not necessary, as it could potentially harm the party's reputation. This advice follows recent controversial statements made by BJP leaders like Vijay Shah and Ramchandra Jangra, which have drawn sharp criticism from the opposition.

Attendance and Key Proposals

The meeting saw participation from around 20 Chief Ministers and 18 Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states. Prominent figures such as BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were also present.

Proposals on Operation Sindoor and Caste Census

Two significant proposals were passed during the meeting. The first was related to 'Operation Sindoor', while the second focused on the caste census. PM Modi stated that Operation Sindoor symbolizes the NDA government's unwavering commitment to India's sovereignty and security.

Clarification on Ceasefire and Caste Census

He clarified that the ceasefire was not a result of international pressure but was initiated by Pakistan. Modi encouraged BJP workers to communicate this fact to the public, highlighting it as a diplomatic success for India. Regarding the caste census, he mentioned that the aim is to facilitate the effective implementation of welfare schemes, asserting that while caste-based politics is not the party's policy, using data to enhance the effectiveness of programs is beneficial.

Praise for Operation Sindoor

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde praised PM Modi and Operation Sindoor during the meeting, stating that the phrase 'those who confront us will be destroyed' is now a testament to the NDA government's policy. He noted that this operation has revitalized a sense of confidence and pride among ordinary Indians.

Significance of the Meeting

This meeting is considered crucial in light of upcoming elections, emphasizing the need for unity, discipline, and strategy within the NDA.
