Fenerbahce Beko clinched its second EuroLeague championship on Sunday with a hard-fought 81-70 win over Monaco in the Final Four showdown at Etihad Arena, cementing its return to the top of European basketball..
The Istanbul-based club, making its seventh Final Four appearance in the past decade, advanced to the title game after defeating Panathinaikos 82-76 in the semifinal, while Monaco earned its spot by beating Olympiacos 78-68.
In the final, Monaco opened strong, taking a 20-18 lead after the first quarter, but Fenerbahce gradually took control and entered halftime ahead 35-33.

Led by standout performances from Nigel Hayes-Davis and Devon Hall, Fenerbahce pulled away in the final quarter, establishing an eight-point lead and maintaining their advantage until the final buzzer. Hayes-Davis played a decisive role with clutch scoring throughout, while Hall delivered a relentless offensive display that helped secure the title.

1st EuroLeague title for head coach Jasikevicius
The victory marks Fenerbahce’s second EuroLeague crown, following its historic 2017 championship. It also represents the first EuroLeague title for head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, who previously came up short in the 2021 final.
Monaco, making its first-ever appearance in the EuroLeague final, mounted a determined effort but was ultimately unable to match Fenerbahce’s execution down the stretch.
