<![CDATA[Meghan's out of touch link to Princess Diana revealed in last episode of her podcast]]>

holds a surprising link to as she has revealed that she had regular acupuncture sessions when she was still living in the UK - a treatment which was loved by the late princess. The 43-year-old released her eighth and final episode of her podcast on Tuesday morning.

As she brought the first series of her podcast to an end, Meghan was joined by SPANX's founder, Sara Blakely, with the pair discussing how important it is to "bet on yourself [and] building bold business strategies". Meghan, who , discussed something that she was previously told by her acupuncturist.

She told Sara: "I remember my acupuncturist in the UK said to me, and it has always stayed with me, he said, if the baby's crying, treat the mother. It all starts with us. Good Lord, we have to take care of ourselves first."

Diana - who died aged 36 in 1997 - was previously seen by acupuncturist Oonagh Shanley-Toffolo, who later became a close friend and confidante of the late royal.

Diana met Ooonagh through her friends Mara and Lorenzo Berni - who run the fashionable San Lorenzo restaurant in Knightsbridge where the late royal often dined.

Ooonagh received a call from Diana on September 5, 1989, before the pair met at Kensington Palace the following morning. She previously wrote: "[Diana] was suffering physically, emotionally and spiritually. Her hands and feet were blue and she presented a very tormented landscape."

She continued: "Diana was very fragile, very low in energy and in extreme need of affection. Her two boys [William and Harry] were jewels."

The revelation about Meghan having regular acupuncture sessions comes as she released the eighth and final episode of her podcast.

Her guest, Sara - the former CEO of the women's shapewear brand - explained how she was working as a fax machine salesperson when she got the inspiration for Spanx in 1998.

Having never worked in fashion nor retail, as well as having never taken a business class in her life, Sara had only £3,694 [$5,000] to her name to invest in the business.
