Wireless charging pad from Logitech works with a select range of mouses that are available in the market and compatible with the new product.
The PowerPlay 2 charging pad for wireless mouse is handy but pricey.
Charging devices have become a daily (or weekly) ritual for most people, depending on what and how many they use. Most of you also need a good wireless mouse to work especially if you hate the wires (like me) and prefer its convenience. However, they also need to be charged every now and then.
And Logitech has a few options to make lives easier on that front. The company has launched its new G PowerPlay 2 wireless charging pad which keeps your mouse fully charged as long as you keep it on the pad. Yes, you don’t have to plug it in for charging, or change batteries. Just place it on the pad and you’re good for sometime.
Logitech G PowerPlay 2 Wireless Pad Price In India
Logitech G PowerPlay 2 wireless pad for charging is priced at Rs 13,995 which is not cheap by any means but that’s what the brand wants you to pay for this unique accessory.
How It Works And Which Devices Supported
Wireless pads and docks for phones and watches have been around for years but mice also need products like these and that’s where the G PowerPlay 2 comes to their rescue. It features a slim design and offers 15 percent more charging zone than the first version. The pad uses its own charging tech combined with the charging coin inside the select mouse to power up the device. The company is mostly offering the wireless charging support for its gaming lineup and the devices include:
- G Pro X Superlight
- G Pro X Superlight 2
- G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex
- G Pro Wireless
- Logitech G903
- Logitech G703
- G502 X Plus
- G502 X Lightspeed
- G502
- G309
So, if you have any of these 10 Logitech gaming mice the PowerPlay 2 charging pad is compatible with them. You can attach the coin to any of these mouses, plug in the charging pad and get them fueled up.
This unique product does come in handy but the brand does not talk about the charging speed supported by the pad and how many cycles it can run over its 2-year warranty. We hope Logitech can make this pad work with more non-gaming wireless mouses in the near future.
