
Two adults and a baby were mauled by a dog in Greater Manchester on Thursday evening. Armed police and an air ambulance were scrambled to a house in Tameside after the attack. Dramatic pictures showed emergency services on the scene in Baslow Road, Haughton Green and three people were rushed to hospital.
People were reportedly "covered in blood" after the attack in the Tameside area, from which a one-year-old baby and two adults were rushed to hospital. Their condition remains unknown. Neighbours told the , "a dog section and armed police went in with guns" and said the dog was a boxer.
Criminal Investigation Department officers and detectives were also on the scene to investigate the incident while children and adults looked on.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called to Baslow Road, Denton, at around 5:50pm today (May 29) to reports several people had been attacked by a dog. Three people, a one-year-old child and two adults, are in hospital being treated for their injuries."
