Marks & Spencer has announced an urgent recall of a product.
Polarn O. Pyret Branded Poppy Print Rompers has been recalled due to safety complaints. Parents and carers of little ones should check their homes for the affected product. The latest recall has been made for the T94 8409A model in size 1-12 months old, which was sold exclusively on M&S.com.
The online-only produce means that affected items were not available to purchase from physical M&S stores during the original purchase period.
Those who bought the romper or received it as a gift have been urged to "return it immediately" at any M&S Clothing store. A full refund will be issued upon return.
Further support is also being offered, where if customers have further questions about the product, they can call the company's customer service line at 0333 014 8555.
M&S has apologised for any inconvenience caused to shoppers.
The news follows the supermarket's safety update issued last month on products that posed a suffication risk. Baby coats were recalled as they did not meet the "strick specifications" of M&S.
The brand's recent recall is the latest in a a list of safety alerts. Brits have also recently been warned about several watches sold in the UK that pose a serious chemical risk.
As well as clothing, there have also been food recalls, including Iceland's alert to shoppers regarding their Daily Bakery 4 Sub Rolls.
Brits can keep safe by checking for fresh updates on the latest food and product recalls and withdrawals through the Food Standards Agency, and the Office for Product Safety and Standards.
UK supermarkets also share recall notices on dedicated web pages.
