Mikel Arteta will be hoping to head into the 2025/26 season with a stunning new-look attack if four transfers are completed this summer.

The Gunners have relied significantly on their defensive strength for the last few title challenges but it has become quite clear they need another goal-scorer. Bukayo Saka is undoubtedly the talisman but a serious hamstring injury resulted in him missing a large portion of the season.

As such, no Arsenal player hit double figures for goals with Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard also missing spells due to injury.

, as football.london understands. Numerous names have been linked to a north London switch with the Arsenal boss having his two dream signings as Alexander Isak and Nico Williams.

Unfortunately, due to a number of factors, it is unlikely that either complete a move to Arsenal and that has resulted in alternatives being heavily considered.

Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres is one of those with Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta a huge fan.

RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko is another name high up on the shortlist with significant effort put in by former chief Edu Gaspar last summer to try and sign him.

Ultimately, the Slovenia international signed a new contract and his release clause subsequently increased. Rather than being a set fee, the value of it can increase through achievements with it widely reported it has now hit £66million (€80m).

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have begun initial concrete talks to sign Sesko with a departure from Leipzig expected.

If Arsenal can get a deal for Sesko over the line that will hopefully be their centre-forward problem solved. He has already scored 68 goals at senior level and his potential is frightening with it clear he can be further unleashed in the right system.

An exciting wingers also joining is likely with Leroy Sane, Ademola Lookman, Jamie Gittens and Rodrygo are all considered targets.

Arteta is a big fan of the Brazilian and he would certainly change the dynamic of Arsenal's attack which would hopefully see less reliance on Saka.

With two additions coming in, exits may have to be sanctioned and Reiss Nelson is one forward that will depart permanently. Injury hampered his loan spell at Fulham but at 25, there is still value there and Arsenal could easily take in £20million for his departure.

One other may need to be sacrificed and that could be Leandro Trossard. Given the Gunners paid just £25million for his services, recouping that should be relatively straightforward with his contract expiring in two years.

Talks for an extension have taken place but selling him may be more beneficial with the Belgium international turning 31 next season.

Dream Arsenal front three: Saka, Sesko, Rodrygo.
