Amit Shah's Visit to Poonch

On Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah interacted with Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Poonch. During his conversation, he highlighted that whenever there is any form of attack on Indian territory, whether organized or unorganized, covert or overt, it is the BSF soldiers who confront it first. He praised the BSF for their unwavering vigilance and dedication, stating that they are available 24/7 throughout the year. Thanks to their commitment, the nation remains largely unscathed from attacks, as the BSF stands as the first line of defense.

BSF's Role in National Defense

Amit Shah commended the BSF troops from the Jammu Frontier, Rajasthan Frontier, and those stationed at the remote Kutch border for their alertness in safeguarding the borders, continuing the tradition of Operation Sindoor. He noted that when Pakistan launched assaults on Indian territory and residential areas, the BSF successfully destroyed over 118 Pakistani posts in the Jammu Frontier.

Impact on Pakistan's Surveillance

Shah remarked that the most significant damage to Pakistan was the destruction of their surveillance equipment, which hindered their ability to engage effectively in combat. He emphasized that inflicting damage on over 118 posts within three days is a remarkable achievement, made possible by the soldiers' patriotism and their willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Commitment to Development in Jammu and Kashmir

Warning those who attempt to harm India, Amit Shah asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the development of Jammu and Kashmir, which began in 2014, will not be halted or slowed down despite recent provocations. He conveyed a message of assurance and determination from Poonch, stating that any disruptions to progress due to recent unrest are temporary, and the Union Territory will soon regain its momentum in development.
