Covid Scare In India Continues As Active Infections Rise By Over 500 In 24 Hours; Most Cases In Kerala

Cases of Covid-19 continue to rise in the country with 500 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,700.
Total active caseload in the country stands at 2,710 with 752 infections reported over this week.
Seven people succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours with 2 patients from Maharashtra and one each from Gujarat, Karnataka, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu.
