AS Monaco are looking to secure the signing of free agent Sergio Reguilon (28), according to The team. The Tottenham Hotspur left-back is now a free agent as the Europa League winners officially announced today they would not renew the Spaniard’s contract. Reguilon only featured six times for Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs this season, totalling only 316 minutes on the pitch. The outlet adds that Monaco have entered into talks with Reguilon’s entourage.
AS Monaco, who will compete in the Champions League on the back of their third-place finish in Ligue 1, are reportedly very confident that a deal could be reached with Reguilon. The former Manchester United left-back would be the second free agent to sign for Adi Hütter’s Monegasques. The Ligue 1 side has already wrapped up the signing of Eric Dier, who was out of contract with Bayern Munich.
