Mumbai: IndiGo announced its 55th destination from Mumbai as it revealed its plan to launch exclusive daily direct flights between Mumbai and Jalandhar’s Adampur from July 2. Adampur in Punjab will become IndiGo’s 92nd domestic station and 133rd overall destination.
IndiGo’s Mumbai-Adampur route will be operational on July 2 on a daily basis. This will be the only airline providing service on this route. Flight 6E 5931 will depart from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 12.55 pm and will reach Adampur at 3.15 pm. The return flight 6E 5932 will depart at 3.50 pm and arrive in Mumbai at 6.30 pm.
According to IndiGo, these flights have been strategically introduced to cater to the needs of both business and leisure customers, providing them with convenient travel options. This new direct connection will provide Punjab’s agricultural and industrial sectors with easier access to Mumbai’s major ports, boosting trade opportunities. It will also help local businesses tap into national and international markets, create jobs, and strengthen economic and cultural ties between northern and western India.
