
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while commemorating the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, issued a strong warning to terrorists saying, “If you fire a bullet, be prepared that the bullet will be answered with a bullet.”
He emphasised the power of women and India’s firm stance against terror during the women’s empowerment conference in Bhopal.
Prime Minister Modi said, “Sindoor is a symbol of our tradition and represents the strength of women,” emphasising the importance of women’s empowerment and their vital role in society.
Terrorists in Pahalgam not only spilled the blood of Indians but also attacked our culture. They tried to divide our society and challenged the strength of women. However, this challenge became the end of the terrorists. Operation Sindoor stands as India’s largest and most successful mission against terrorism.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav warmly welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the dignitaries present at the venue, formally marking the beginning of the grand women's empowerment conference at Jamboree Maidan.

The intricate gift, representing centuries-old traditional weaving and craftsmanship, was presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by BJP state president V.D. Sharma.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was presented with a special gift — a model of the Pushpak Viman from Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, symbolising the region's rich cultural heritage and creative craftsmanship.


Before beginning the program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers and paid floral tribute to the idol of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, honoring her legacy and spiritual strength.

He has been briefed on her history, contributions, and the literature written about her. Officials and scholars have guided him through various books and records detailing her role as a just and visionary ruler.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhopal on Saturday to attend a large-scale women’s conference at Jamboree Maidan.
The event focuses on celebrating women’s leadership and empowerment initiatives under various government schemes.
He will virtually inaugurate the Indore Metro and two airport projects during his visit.
He will also inaugurate several key projects, including a special ₹300 coin and postage stamp honoring Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, and a National Devi Ahilyabai Award for women artists in tribal and traditional arts.
He will release funds for building 1,271 Atal Gram Governance Buildings to support village infrastructure. Modi will inaugurate the newly upgraded Datia and Satna airports, which will enhance regional air connectivity.
Additionally, he will launch commercial operations of the Indore Metro on a 5.9 km stretch, part of the larger 31.46 km Phase 1 metro project in the city.
In preparation for his visit, the district administration on Thursday issued detailed directives and allocated responsibilities to 24 departments, including the Police, Health Department, Forest Department, Smart City, and the Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
Each department has been assigned specific duties to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
