
A man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly raped in a park in the early hours of the morning. The incident is reported to have happened on on Thursday, May 30.
said a 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with two incidents, one on the common and another at an address in nearby Balham. He remains in custody. The female victim is being supported by specialist officers, reports.

In a statement, the Met Police said: "Officers investigating an allegation of rape have arrested a 33-year-old man, who remains in custody.
"This relates to two incidents in the early hours of Friday, 30 May near Tooting Bec Common and an address in Balham.
"A female victim is being supported by specialist officers."
The force has urged anyone with information to come forward.
"Anyone who has information that may assist police is asked to call 101 and quote CAD 0786/30MAY," the Met added.
"You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
