Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mayawati acknowledged the natural unease among party members regarding the political journey of Akash Anand and his recent appointment as the chief national coordinator. She emphasized that the BSP is the only true Ambedkarite party in the country, cautioning against rival parties like Congress, BJP, and Samajwadi Party that form alliances. Mayawati expressed on social media that the BSP is dedicated to the welfare of the marginalized and has a tradition of taking action for the party's interests while allowing for redemption.

Mayawati further noted that the fluctuations in Akash Anand's career and his new role have understandably caused some anxiety among many. She expressed hope that Anand would diligently uphold the legacy of Dr. B.R.
