Allegations of Gang Rape in Belagavi District
In a disturbing incident in Kakatti, Belagavi district, a minor girl has reportedly been subjected to gang rape, with the perpetrators allegedly recording the act to blackmail her. This information was disclosed by the police on Sunday.
Authorities have apprehended five individuals in connection with the case, while efforts are underway to locate a sixth suspect. The victim filed a complaint with the police on Saturday, stating that the accused had repeatedly assaulted her and threatened her with the video footage of the initial attack.
According to police reports, the 15-year-old girl was taken to a hilly area six months ago, where she was gang-raped. The assailants recorded the sexual assault. The victim claims that her boyfriend lured her to the hilly location.
