Bhubaneswar: Preetam Kumar Pradhan, a law student from the KIIT School of Law and hailing from Berhampur, Odisha, has been awarded the prestigious Authorship Award by the World Charity Welfare Foundation, a recognition endorsed by the American Merit Council.
Pradhan has been celebrated as a young author for his literary contributions. His first book, titled ‘Mystic and Matter’, has achieved sales of over 500 copies through various offline outlets across India.
The book delves into philosophical themes and the intricacies of human experiences, garnering interest from both readers and literary communities, thus elevating Pradhan's profile beyond his local region.
Beyond his writing endeavors, Pradhan is actively engaged in student leadership and community service. He holds the position of student convenor for various campus initiatives and collaborates with multiple NGOs that focus on education, legal awareness, and tribal welfare.
