Train Cancelled: 8 trains of Jharkhand have been cancelled for 8 days. Due to TRT work between Gamharia station of Chakradharpur Railway Division, travelling between Rourkela and Tatanagar has been proving difficult for passengers since May 20. Railways have also given a reason.

Train Cancelled: 8 trains of Jharkhand have been cancelled for 8 days. Due to TRT work between Gamharia station of Chakradharpur Railway Division, the journey between Rourkela and Tatanagar has been proving to be difficult for the passengers since 20th May. In the sequence of line block being taken every Wednesday and Saturday, four pairs of trains were cancelled totodaydue to which the passengers had to face problems. Today, Durg Ara South Bihar Express and Howrah Pune Azad Hind Express also reached Chakradharpur station several hours late. South Bihar reached Chakradharpur at around 12.30 pm, while the Howrah Pune Azad Hind Express reached after a few minutes. After this, Chakradharpur railway station appeared deserted.

However, the railway has already announced the cancellation of many trains due to the TRT work between Gamharia and Sini. Passengers will have to face problems till 28 June due to TRT work on this route. On Saturday, train number 18109/18110 Tata Itwari Tata Express, was cancelled, due to which passengers had to face a lot of problems. It will also remain cancelled on 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28 June. Train number 12021/12020 Howrah Barbil Jan Shatabdi Express, train number 68003/68004 Tata Gua Tata MEMU Passenger and train number 68043/68044 Tata Rourkela Tata MEMU were also cancelled today, due to which passengers travelling from Tatanagar to Gua and Barbil faced huge difficulties. These trains will also remain cancelled on 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28 June.

Due to TRT work, train number 18477/18778 Puri-Rishikesh Puri Utkal Express and train number 13288/13287 Durg-Ara Durg South Bihar Express will run on diverted route on different dates till 29 June.

Ispat Express ran after a short termination.

Howrah Titlagarh Ispat Express was short-terminated at Tatanagar and Kantabhaj.i Howrah Ispat Express was short terminated at Rourkela on Saturday due to TRT work between Sini-Gamharia station. The service of these trains was cancelled between Rourkela and Tatanagar today. Due to which the passengers dependent on this train had to face a lot of problems. This train will run after a short termination on various dates till 28 June.
