If you are thinking of getting insurance, then this news is very useful for you. Nowadays, while many private insurance companies charge high premiums and give fewer benefits, the Post Office Insurance Scheme (Postal Life Insurance) has emerged as a reliable and beneficial option for people.
Not only is the premium low in this scheme, but the annual bonus is also much higher than other companies. This is the reason why people are now increasingly attracted to the Post Office Insurance Scheme.
More bonuses, more benefit
Manoj Kumar Lashkar, Post Superintendent of Sitamarhi Head Post Office, said that the rate of annual bonus in Postal Life Insurance ranges from ₹ 42 to ₹ 75 per thousand rupees. Whereas other insurance companies give bonuses up to a maximum of ₹ 38 per thousand rupees. This means that by getting insurance from the post office, people can benefit by lakhs of rupees in the long run, which is much more than private companies.
Investment of 10 lakhs, return of 30 lakhs
Suppose a person takes an insurance policy of ₹10 lakhs from the post office at the age of 19 and pays only ₹1000 premium every month. By the age of 60, he deposits a total of ₹10 lakhs. But when the policy matures, he can get up to ₹30 lakhs. This profit is due to the bonus received every year. That is, you can get Rs 30 lakh on retirement.
A safe investment, tax exemption, and loan facility
The insurance scheme of the post office is completely safe because it is run by the Government of India. It also provides the facility of taking a loan after 3 years. Apart from this, facilities like tax exemption and policy transfer make it even more useful. Post Superintendent Manoj Lashkar said that the post office is running a campaign to make people aware in rural and urban areas so that more and more people can join this beneficial scheme.
