There will be no need for phone number

The biggest feature of Musk’s Xchat is that the phone number will not be required to use it. In this, any user who already uses X can start chatting and calling directly from you.

Musk has made some claims about this new chatting feature like every time. Musk has claimed that his chatting feature is very safe. Your chats will now be completely private, as it uses end-to-end encryption. Which means that no third will reach your words.

Talking about Xchat, it will get end-to-end encryption, which ensures your privacy. Apart from this, it also has a vanishing message feature. Meaning whatever message you send, it will disappear automatically. You get to use this type of feature in Snapchat. However, the complete information of this feature has not been revealed yet how it will work in Xchat. Musk has claimed that you can make audio and video calls in it comfortably without any hassle. Apart from this, files sharing facility will also be available in Xchat.
