After years of waiting, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finally won their first title by defeating Punjab Kings in the 2025 IPL final. After winning the match, there was tremendous happiness among the players and fans of RCB, but it was an emotional moment for Punjab Kings players, fans, co-owner, and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta. Punjab Kings entered the field to make the dream of years come true, but luck did not favor them once again.
In the pictures and videos going viral on social media, it can be seen that after the match was over, Preity Zinta looked very sad. She was wearing a white kurta, red dupatta, and salwar, but the grief of defeat was visible on her face. She became emotional while leaving the field, there were tears in her eyes, which her fans clearly saw and also felt the sadness.

Preity consoled her players, even met players like Shreyas Iyer and gave them courage. Her dignified but heartbreaking moment touched netizens, many said it was because she is emotionally attached to her team. Many wrote on social media, 'Bhai, she too has been waiting for 18 years', another wrote- 'After 2014, tears were seen in Preity's eyes again... my heart was broken.'
